Acacia House was born out of a simple frustration: finding clear, reliable information about homeschooling in the UAE shouldn't be this hard.
We're parents, just like you. When we started exploring homeschooling for our own children, we found ourselves lost in a maze of outdated blog posts, conflicting information, and bureaucratic jargon. We spent months piecing together the puzzle — talking to regulatory bodies, connecting with other homeschooling families, and slowly building up the knowledge we wished someone had just handed to us from the start.
So we decided to build that resource ourselves.
Why "Acacia House"?
The acacia tree is native to the UAE. It thrives in harsh conditions, puts down deep roots, and provides shelter to everything around it. That felt like the perfect symbol for what we're trying to build: a resilient, grounded community that supports families as they grow.
Our Vision
Right now, Acacia House is an online information hub. But our longer-term dream is bigger: we envision a physical learning space where homeschool families can come together — for classes, workshops, social events, and community. A real house, rooted in the UAE, where learning and connection happen under one roof.
That's still in the future. For now, we're focused on making sure every parent who's curious about homeschooling has the information they need to make a confident decision.
