Know Your Rights

Yes, you can do this.

If you're an expat family in the UAE, homeschooling is completely legal. Compulsory schooling laws in the UAE apply to Emirati nationals — as an expat, you have the right to educate your child at home without needing government permission.

For Emirati families: If you're an Emirati family, the Ministry of Education offers a formal homeschooling scheme. Contact the MOE directly for eligibility criteria and registration requirements.
You don't need a teaching qualification. You just need commitment.
